School Closings for Inclement Weather

We follow Tredyffrin Easttown School District's school closings.  Their   number is 854.  Radio stations such as KYW1060 announce the school closings by these numbers.  If you are concerned about a possible school closing, listen for #854.  The various TV stations also run closings by the name of the school district during the news and on their web sites.  You should look for Tredyffrin Easttown.

T/E  SCHOOLS 2 HOUR DELAY
When T/E schools have a 2 hour delay due to inclement weather, Heritage School will be closed for all morning classes. The 3 Day KR Afternoon Classes will report at noon. Kindergarten will report at noon if the 2 hour delay falls on a Tuesday or a Thursday.
School will be closed for all other afternoon programs.

The following policy has been established by the Heritage Board regarding the making up of missed days due to inclement weather:

If the school misses 5 days due to inclement weather, any further missed days will be made up by adding the following days back into the schedule.

            Easter Monday

            Days 1 & 2 of May Parent Conferences

            Additional Days at the end of the year

Should there be more than 9 snow days this winter, the Heritage School Board will consider adding additional school days to the end of the school year.
